Arboretum Maps

Several different maps are available to help guide visitors through the Arboretum and to find plants in Arboretum gardens. Some maps provide an overview of the Arboretum - its gardens, trails and points of interest; and some provide detailed layouts of the gardens themselves.

The visitor's map provides a good overview of the Arboretum for first-time visitors. It shows all of the Arboretum - its 26 acre forest reserve north of the Green to Cedar Rivers trail and its 14 acre area of cultivated gardens south of the trail. Trails leading through the arboretum and its gardens are depicted on this map along with other points of interest.

A top-level garden map shows all of the garden areas in the Arboretum. The garden names shown on this map correspond to the names used to label and catalog each plant's location. From this map, links are provided to detailed maps of each individual garden. These detailed maps depict "beds" within each garden. It is these beds to which a plant's location is assigned.

A list of all maps appears below. They are available in different formats depending on your needs.
